10Is it possible to automate the display of posts using the SiteOrigin Post Carousel widget, that is, sliding from one post to the next and going back to the beginning again as a loop rather than having to arrow through each post? If this can be done can the arrows be deleted?
Hi, unfortunately, not at this time. You’d need another widget. I don’t know of one off hand but other widget bundles built on the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle are:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/livemesh-siteorigin-widgets/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-for-siteorigin/
One of the two might have a widget that can help.
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for that. Much appreciated. I'll have a look at the
Widget Bundles.
Kind regards,
Jasmin
For sure :) Hope you can find something that does the trick.
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for that. I found the livemesh worked a treat. Just need to work out how to make it display a little smaller on my home page.
Please, send a link and we’ll take a look.
Hi Andrew,
Following is the link where the livemesh post carousel is located (i.e. header section of site): http://www.sapa.org.au
Thank you.
Jasmin
Thanks. The Livemesh widget in question doesn’t have any sizing options that I know of. You could also try the SiteOrigin Post Carousel widget which will let you choose the size of the Featured Image.
Hi Andrew,
I originally had the SiteOrigin Post Carousel but it didn’t have the capability to automate, i.e. sliding from post to post automatically, so had to find another one that could do this. Maybe this is something that could be added to the SiteOrigin Post Carousel in the future?
Thank you again.
Jasmin
Ahh that’s right. Thanks for your feedback, I’ll be sure to put this down as a feature request.
