Tips to change Vantage Home Page

I saw your another website, got fascinated and thought of downloading something for my site, http://www.triptotheworld.com/. Found Vantage, the latest theme and got attracted. Since I am using this site as a blog to share my thoughts and ideas, I have no plan to go for premium. I am using 1.2.3.
I have been trying to change the home page to put 3 images and some text below each image to describe about my site. I have gone through your documentation, but failed to get the right link. I have also downloaded Visual Editor as suggested by you in a reply to another user. Since I am a beginner could you pls see my site first, home page, and suggest me how to change EDIT HOME PAGE, LOADS OF ICONS, SAVES YOU TIME and how to edit THIS IS A HEADLINE WIDGET.
Also tell me how to access the pre-loaded images available in this theme which I liked very much to put in home slider. I am not able to change the color for the home page, look like it is only for premium users.

    try looking at appearance> home page
    there you can use the page builder plugin that comes with the theme! hope that helps :)

    Oh My God…… was it so simple. Thanks a lot.
    I have changed it. Pls see the site again – http://www.triptotheworld.com/
    After the page loads, use page down 3 times minimum, to see the new home page.

    I have now a new problem, when you try to get into the site, some other pages are loaded by default.
    Could you pls help in identifying the problem.

    I’m not quite following your question. Can you perhaps link to a page where you’re seeing the unwanted content load?
