I recently did a Wordfence scan and received an error that was attached to the plugin Tinymce. However, I do not have that plugin installed on the site. I was going to delete the plugin using FTP, but was wondering if it is apart of the core WordPress file. Does anyone know if it is or not. Thanks in advance.
Hi Rwdgl1,
TinyMCE is the name of the editor used by WordPress. It’s a core WordPress file. It was recently updated in a recent WordPress update so it makes sense for it to be flagged as having been altered.
