I’m using the widget “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget”. But in the page builder 2.0 beta version it is not giving the tinymce options anymore. Do you know about this? Or do I need to send an issue to Black Studio?
Maybe it is a good idea to put the tinymce into the default text widget from pagebuilder?
Hi Dennis
Thanks for reaching out and reporting, much appreciated.
Marco from Black Studio has and continues to put a lot of effort into making Black Studio compatible with Page Builder. It’s a surprisingly complex widget so we’re happy to leave that up to him. Page Builder 2.0 has increased Black Studio integration, new users will now get prompted to install it.
Can you confirm, you’ve inserted the widget called Visual Editor into Page Builder and it’s not showing any of the usual editor buttons?
If so, please can you try trouble-shoot for us. You could start by de-activating all your plugins except for Black Studio and Page Builder and then re-test.
Thanks
I can confirm it.
I started with a clean install of wordpress (4.0.1) and then installed Page Builder (siteorigin-panels-2.0-beta2) & Black Studio TinyMCE Widget (2.2.1)
It still happens and I can’t find any solutions.
One thing that is maybe the solution is that the class from the textarea is not the same as in the old version, but I am not sure.
I just saw when I changed the input from the visual editor from “WYSIWYG” to “text”, I can’t change it back anymore.
The edit buttons, like changing headers and paragraphs are not visible, and are not rendered as HTML too.
I now have the page builder 2.0 (no-beta) version, and everything works.
BUT
when I install another plugin (TinyMCE Advanced 4.1.1) I get the problem.
I will send an issue to the creators of TinyMCE Advanced so they can resolve the problem.
Thanks for the update Dennis. We just pushed 2.0 officially live now. Hopefully TinyMCE Advanced can take a look at some point.
