Thumbnails not resizing the same

I set up two pages with images layed out the same. All was perfect. Even the portrait images cropped and scaled perfectly to 120×90. Later, I made the mistake of playing around with watermarks for the images on one of those pages and didn’t like them so I had to remove the entire gallery and recreate it to get rid of said watermarks. The images on that page do not scale to 120×90 like the other page as they used to though. I did not have to use custom CSS to get them in the original layout/size (except for spacing and color which are both unchanged from the existing custom CSS). I’ve gone into the gallery settings since and reset the image size to 120×90. I’ve tried reuploading the images to the media gallery to the desired size of 120×90. I’ve recreated and added the gallery at least four times now. No changes. Please tell me what has happened and more importantly, how to fix the problem page so it matches the other page again!

Here are the respective pages:

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi das

    Try regenerating your thumbnails using:

    Hey, Andrew.

Thank you for this feedback. Never even knew about this plugin before.

I’ve installed and used it now. Regenerated the images with it. Recreated a gallery folder for the newly resized images but no difference made. Tried it a couple times.

    Any other ideas/suggestions/feedback?

Something else I notice different between the two pages:

Page Info for the working page shows “Dimensions: 0px × 0px (scaled to 120px × 90px)” for all thumbnails on the page.

whereas Page Info for problem page shows: “Dimensions: Xpx × Xpx” (the values are different for each one and no mention of scaling in brackets as with the other page’s info)

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for trying that. I have a feeling this is a NextGen specific challenge, if you want to confirm that you could temporarily switch to another theme and see if the issue resolves.

Please, see this page: https://www.imagely.com/thumbnails-cropped-your-way/. It turns out NextGen has a way of recreating thumbnails from within the plugin, that might prove helpful. You might also need to see if there is a “hard crop” setting in NextGen. Unfortunately, I haven’t used the plugin much which is why I can’t offer specific assistance with it at this stage.
