Hello,
I am using WordPress 4.3.1 together with the following plugins:
– Beaver Builder Plugin (Standard Version) – latest version: 1.6.3.2
– SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle (latest version 1.4.4)
To avoid any conflicts, I have deactivated all other plugins… to make sure, I even deactivated all SiteOrigin Widgets – except the Google Maps WIdget.
When adding the Widget to a page, I do get the following error message:
“This widget has scripts and styles that need to be loaded before you can use it. Please save and reload your current page.
You will only need to do this once.”
Any idea how to solve this?
Thanks and ciao
Michael
Hi HGN1805
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
Hi Andrew,
thanks for your response. Excuse me – probably I have not been specific enough in my previous description.
As described above, only the following two plugins were activated:
– Beaver Builder Plugin (Standard Version) – latest version: 1.6.3.2
– SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle (latest version 1.4.4)
The SiteOrigin Page Builder is working – but when I try to use the SiteOrigin widgets within the Beaver Builder, none of the SiteOrigin widgets is working. The error message is “This widget has scripts and styles that need to be loaded before you can use it…”
So yes – it must be a sort of conflict between Beaver Builder and SiteOrigin widgets. As I want to finish the site ASAP, I continued with site development without using any SiteOrigin widget so far :(
Any idea how to get it running and use both systems in parallel?
Thanks for your response.
Michael
Hi Michael
Sorry for missing that. During busy periods we can struggle to clear our free user threads. Last night I was doing a big batch run to try work out who still needed help.
I ran a test now and there, unfortunately, does seem to be a JavaScript issue with using SiteOrigin widgets in Beaver Page Builder. I’ll log this as a bug now. Resolving these sorts of challenges can be a challenge so the timeline is often a medium term one.
(In future, if you need a hand, you’re welcome to post here, it’ll jump the queue a little.)
no problem Andrew. Thanks for your help – please let me know when this is fixed.
Regards,
Michael
