Do any of the SiteOrigin themes, free or paid, allow for secondary header menus?
Here’s what I’m trying to do in case I’m using poor terminology: I have a traditional 3-column, very info-deep, website with different functional units sitting under an umbrella org. Each area is quite different but are interrelated. Currently we have a site wide navigation at the top and then a unit-specific traditional left-side menu for navigating within the specific unit’s pages. The problem with this, like all such sites, is that the main content area is squeezed by a left and right side bar.
I want to bring the site it into a more modern UX. So what I’m looking for is a theme that has a built in menu area for a primary “Site wide” menu and then a secondary menu area for drill down. I am considering using the very handy “Conditional Menus” plugin to modify the second level menu to appear differently for each functional unit, thus mimicking the existing website’s behavior but with top-nav only.
Alternatively I may explore a slide-out left hand menu, which could appeal as compromise for the existing content owners. So if there is a theme available with that, I’d be interested in looking at that as well.

All of our themes allow for more than two levels of menus, but they will be quite small due to the limited amount of space. If you’re looking for a more customizable (functionality, styling and structure), I would recommend installing and using Max Mega Menu. This will allow you to do what you’ve outlined in your post.
