On my homepage I have images and text below aligned as ‘centre’ this has always worked fine but I logged on today and all the text underneath the images have defaulted to the left… No idea why.. I have tried to create a new row with a new widget and selected centre and it still aligns to the left.
Have checked the padding its not that either.. Strange as it was working fine for weeks and then all of a sudden changed itself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated (also I know nothing about coding hence using the sitebuilder so please offer a simple solution :) )
Hi Alice
Thanks for posting.
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
Hi Aaron,
yes it’s http://www.olaiamonochrome.com/
Thank you
Thanks for the link. At SettingsPage BuilderWidgets, has the Widget Title field been edited? Is the class name still present? The default value is:
Hi Aaron,
I have just checked and it is;
{{title}}
should I change it to what you sent?
Thanks
Alice
I dont know why that didnt work.. It is;
{{title}}
{{title}}
It wont let me paste it for some reason, I have screenshot but also wont let me add a picture in here
It is the same as what you sent minus the class=”widget-title”
Hi Alice
You can use sharing sites like Imgur.com or Google Drive to send us screenshots here on the forum.
The Widget Title field should ideally match the text I sent previously. Does the pasting issue persist if you temporarily deactivate all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin?
I have copied what you wrote and the text alignment issues still remains. Do you know how to resolve this and get it back to centre alignment?
Also, how do I know which plug ins aren’t authorised by Siteorigin?
Hi Alice
In your plugins list the author is written below each plugin name. SiteOrigin authors Page Builder by SiteOrigin, the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, and SiteOrigin CSS. There are a few others but those are our main plugins.
Try clearing your caching plugin, any change? If not, temporarily deactivate your caching plugin along with all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin, any change in that state?
Hi Aaron,
I have now tried both, I deactivated the Cache Plugin, then one by one I deactivated every single Plugin and the problem did not resolve?
The text is still to the left.. I just don’t get it as I hadn’t even been on there changing anything etc. I just logged on one day and it had changed itself and now will not go back
Please, could you take a screenshot of the field at SettingsPage BuilderWidgetWidget Title, upload it to imgur.com or Drive or any sharing site and send us the link? Thanks.
Hello
Never used this site but hope this works… Let me know

Thanks. The class name is missing. Please, try restoring this this field to its default value:
Hi Aaron,
I tried this already. I copy and pasted what you sent and it defaulted back so then I typed it in manually and it defaults back as soon as I save it?
Hi Alice
When you ran the plugin conflict, were you checking to see if this situation resolved? The field shouldn’t be reverting back. Does the issue persist if you temporarily deactivate all plugins except for Page Builder and then go to SettingsPage BuilderWidgets and enter the default widget title text? If the field still removes the class name, temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty while keeping all plugins deactivated except for Page Builder. In that state, does the Widget Title field save the correct text when you insert it and save?
Ok I have tried that and still no luck….
Hi Alice
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
Private Snippet
Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and Private Snippet for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.
