Taking down the default slider on the homepage
New at this! Only set up a couple of wordpress sites for small businesses. Installed this theme and everything is great except I can’t figure out how to get rid of the default slider on the homepage. I just want to use a static image. I already set it to static front page but this thing is still showing up….how do I get rid of it?
Also paid for premium through Paypal but haven’t gotten an order number yet.

6Nevermind……..totally just figured that out
To take out or change the default slider on the home … go to appearance, then Theme settings … in the section : Home you can change your slider choice or none
Glad to hear you figured it out Kali. If you need any more help with the slider, this page should help.

Hi Cherylynne
You can add a single image as a Meta Slider and insert that.
Our home page slider tutorial can be found here: https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/getting-started/slider/. Everything would be the same, you’d just add one image.

I’ve discovered via DUDA – that (if your customers) use GODADDY theres a possibility that their MOBILE site will be served up via GODADDY – over riding SITEORIGIN products … (hence the seemingly sticky ‘plant life’ images sourced from a copy of your DEMO folder in my GODADDY/WP dir/ __ This can be a nightmare for you less technically inclined customers.
