Sydney Image Widgets No Longer Working

Hi,

The image widgets on our site are no longer working – we are operating with the Sydney theme and have had no issues in the past. I am not sure what is causing the issue, but we have lost all images, links, and content on several of our pages – including the following:

www.ohlingerpublishing.com
http://www.ohlingerpublishing.com/about/our-staff/
http://www.ohlingerpublishing.com/about/our-pets/

It says ‘Missing Widget,’ and that’s all. Are there any recommendations for retrieving this content or reinstating the widgets?

    Hi Kate,

This issue should be resolved by using the latest version of SiteOrigin Page Builder and/or Sydney. Please ensure you’ve updated.

    Hi Alex,

I am using the most recent versions of both and still not seeing functional widgets on my pages.

    Thanks,
    Kate

    Hi Kate,

Would it be possible for you to send me an export for one of the pages you linked? To do this open up the page in the editor and click layout in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

    Hi Kate,

    Sorry for the delay.
Unfortunately, the widgets you’re referring too are actually the Jetpack Image widget which was sadly removed in Jetpack in favor of the WordPress 4.8 Image widget. Sadly, you’ll need to restore to a version of your website prior to WordPress 4.8 to recover your image data as there’s sadly no easy way to rollback Jetpack and have the image widgets appear again. Once you have access to the widgets again, I would recommend moving them to a different widget such as the SiteOrigin Image widget.

    Sorry about this!
