“Supplied” versus downloaded

Greetings!
I got this plugin as part of a purchased template, which states that it will only work with that authors templates. After viewing what you ahve here on this site I realize that their version is older and you have more features.

Now, I would rather not lose what they’ve put into the template, but I would like some of the features I saw in your video. If I downloaded and installed your latest would I lose their individual widgets? (came from ThinkUpThemes)

Please let me know…

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hey Chris

Thanks for reaching out. I must admit, I’m not sure what would happen if you switched from the ThinkUp Page Builder fork to the master version. Let me consult with Greg and come back to you on this.

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi again. We’re unfortunately not sure what modifications have been made in the fork. If possible we’d suggest getting in touch with ThinkUp and ask if they could advise on whether you can migrate and if so, how.

Alternatively, if you’re feeling up for it. You could create a separate WordPress installation, make a copy of your current installation using Duplicator plugin and test moving over.
