Struggling with custom CSS

Im trying to customise the menu on the Focus theme. I’ve watched the tutorial but I’m finding it difficult to make the font bigger and bolder.

#masthead .site-navigation .menu-wrapper ul li a {
font-size: 14px;
font-family: Arial;
}

    Adjust as required.
