Strange page builder admin issue???

10 years ago · Last reply by Support Assistants 10 years ago

This is very strange: I have a shadow around an image which works fine provided I am logged in as admin on wordpress.
If I load the page in another browser so that I am not logged in to wordpress the shadow does not display. I created another page and paste the html into this but did not use page builder, this works fine whether I am logged in or not. So the issue seems to be with page builder.

I am using wordpress 4.4 and page builder 2.2.2

    Hi Msander

This shadow might be getting added by your theme. It’s possible that that removing the widget class from your widgets will help. If you navigate to SettingsPage BuilderWidgets in your WordPress admin and disable Add Widgets Class, that might fix the issue.

Sorry, I didn’t explain this very well I actually want the shadow as I made it.
I have put a shadow around an image (<img style="box-shadow: 3px 4px 7px #000;") which works fine provided I am logged in as admin on wordpress. If I load the page in another browser so that I am not logged in to wordpress the shadow does not display. I then added a plain text widget and pasted the html into this. This works fine whether I am logged in or not, so the issue seems to be with page builder or the site origin editor. I have added some screen dumps which I hope will clarify they are numbered sequentially.

Incidentally I still tried what you suggested but made no difference

    Hi msander

I think this is an issue we might have fixed in the development version of the Widgets Bundle. I assume you’re adding those images in a SiteOrigin Editor widget?

There was a bit of a bug that resulted in some HTML being stripped out for non-logged in users. We’ve fixed this in our development version, so you will see this in the next update of the Widgets Bundle.

    Hi Greg

Yes, this only occurs when using the SiteOrigin Editor Widget using plain text widget all ok

Look forward to the new update
