Strange conflict with Content Views Pro?

9 years ago · Last reply by Speedyp 9 years ago

I have a page (“Home”) with a content views loop featuring 1 post from each of 4 different tags. That’s fine.

I have another post (“BOb”) with a simple content views category loop. That’s fine too.

The issue occurs when I attempt to include the “Bob” post within the tag loop on the home page. The loop id automatically changes to the “Bob” view id!

Note that this only happens when the “Bob” post uses the Page Builder plugin layout. If I revert to the normal wp editor the issue disappears and everything works as expected.

I understand that there may be a conflict between these 2 plugins, so I am also querying this with Content Views Pro. But if you had any thoughts about what might be going on that would be great – Thanks.

Hi… Did you get an answer or figure one out. I’m looking at CVP to use with SiteBuilder.

    Thanks,

Yes, the guys at CVP were excellent. The reason for the conflict was calling a view within another view (if you know what I mean)and then siteorigin page builder executing that shortcode. They’ve now fixed the conflict and it’s part of the most recent release, so no hesitation to recommend CVP :)
