Split row when resizing window

Hello! First of all thanks for all your hard work to make this a great plugging, usually I dont get limitations from it but in this case If I can solve this I would be able to create so much more with this plugging.

Im trying to achive this effect o a single row: http://nuves.com.ar/salvadores/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Captura-de-pantalla-2016-08-13-a-las-2.23.01-p.m..png
This means that I should be able to make two background images or background color cover 2 divs on a single row but the gutter space in all the row makes something like this: http://nuves.com.ar/salvadores/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Captura-de-pantalla-2016-08-13-a-las-2.27.41-p.m..png
1) How can I do it in the correct way with custom CSS?

2) And secondly when resizing to a small window I want to make the content of the left (of the same row) be over the content of the right (of the same row) like this: http://nuves.com.ar/salvadores/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Captura-de-pantalla-2016-08-13-a-las-2.23.43-p.m..png … Instead of like this that breakes the text and makes the left image to small. Check it: http://nuves.com.ar/salvadores/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Captura-de-pantalla-2016-08-13-a-las-2.32.38-p.m..png

Thank you very much!
