Hi guys,
I understand that Page Builder was not designed for Woocommerce. We have hired a consultant to lay out our Woocommerce Pages (/shop, /category, /product, /account, /cart, /checkout) to look like our Vantage theme Pages. Which is fine. He has done a good job.
The problem is I am facing is that I don’t really know how he did it, or where the files are — so that I can maintain it over time, and make small modifications to the text, etc. I have asked him to document how he did it, and we will see.
My question is whether there is a Page Builder equivalent or something similar on the Woocommerce side, where someone with a low level of HTML/CSS experience can build and maintain the e-commerce pages.
I know that Woocommerce isn’t the focus of SiteOrigin, but it would be really helpful to at least know if something might exist, and where to look.
Woocommerce itself is a large, chaotic community and difficult to navigate.
Thanks again. We are getting pretty close to the company launch.
Any advice here? I need to build a pure Woocommerce site.
Hi Bella
My guess is that the consultant you hired would have coded a child theme with a few custom CSS and PHP files. At the moment, I’m not aware of a solution to creating custom WooCommerce pages using a drag and drop interface.
This is a great idea though. Maybe it’s something we here at SiteOrigin could look into as our team grows :)
