Solution to hiding navigation in Hero widget

I wanted to reply to a previous post by MikeDrum, but was not able to, so hopefully this might save the admins some time. The post was looking for a solution to not being able to hide the circle icons in a Hero image.
The accepted solution also did not work for me also. I found some code that did work for me.

.sow-slider-pagination {
display: none !important;
}

This was the code that worked for me as opposed to the accepted solution.
