hey there

is it possible to export comments and social posts from one site to another on Vantage, if it was moved to a new domain but keeping the same blog content?

    Hi Sarah

    Sure, if you’re using Tools > Export then the WordPress exporter can move posts, pages, media and comments. Not sure about social posts though. Are you talking about the Like count and things like that? That would be related to the URL. I’d imagine if the URL is changing then those wouldn’t move. I haven’t looked into this point though so it might be worth hunting around Google a little to see if anyone else has tackled this challenge.

    Sure. Vantage uses it’s own social feature for posts. That can be turned on/off at Appearance > Theme Settings > Social.

    Best plugin replacement would be Jetpack Social:
