So Editor – modifying css

I know this is a total noob question (but then, I’m a noob). When using the SO Editor, how do I use the Widget Styles dialog to actually change the css attributes for the items inside just that editor section?

For example, I am trying to modify the margin space between a and a – but only on this one section.
This isn’t working – what am I doing wrong here?

    Hi Chris

    Thanks for reaching out.

The row and widget Attributes section is best used if you already have an understanding of CSS. If you’re familiar with CSS then you’ll find our quick overview helpful:

Thread: How do Page Builder row attributes work – row class, cell class and CSS styles

We’ll be sure to release more documentation in the future. For now, Andrew’s thread is the best explanation we have published.

Hmm. My eyes glassed over when I read that (I admit to not knowing CSS much at all)

Sorry to hear the overview wasn’t helpful. If there is a specific change we can assist with, please, let me know.

When I use an unnumbered list (the

tag), the default is to use a margin at the top. I want to get rid of the top margin.

Also – I don’t know if it’s the widget or the theme, but the default bullet (solid circle) does not display at all when using the list item

    • . If I change it to an open circle or square, it does display.

So what do I put in the “widget class” and “css styles” boxes to accomplish this?

Please, send a link to the page you’re looking at let us know what part of the page you’re trying to edit. We’ll advise from there. Thanks.
