    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Horatio

It appears as if you’re running a mobile site plugin. The URL http://mobile.strongandsilkyhair.com/ isn’t being generated by Snapshot or even WordPress, it’s being generated by a 3rd party product. If you click the link at the bottom of the site that says Classic, it’ll take you to the actual mobile version of the site that Snapshot is creating.

You’ll need to try figure out how/why your site is redirecting to this different mobile version.

Can you please also let me know your PayPal email address so I can issue you a refund. Or just find your email from PayPal, in that email you’ll be able to request a refund and I’ll honour it right away.

Unfortunately I don’t feel SiteOrigin can meet your needs. I can’t find any record of a premium order from “Horatio Nelson”, so perhaps it was ordered under a different name.

    Best Regards,
    Greg

the fact that you’ve deleted my posting proves your guilt. I’ve deactivated every possible 3rd party component on that site (including Meta Slider) – and its YOUR theme AND slider function that creates the default plant images – check your documentation – you CLEARLY show the “plant images” in your documentation.

This NOT how you do business mate.

  3. 10 years, 24 days ago Horatio Nelson

Your inexperience and youth come shining thru. You can’t even apologise in a direct way. Even your “offer for a refund” is laced with bias and impetuousness.

  4. 10 years, 24 days ago Horatio Nelson

Just have a look at the MENU being generated in the mobile version .. its YOUR menu

  5. 10 years, 24 days ago Horatio Nelson

indeed, you’ve obviously defined a directory which stores those plant images and serves ALL your DEMOS with (w) slider. Ask yourself: what slider are you using to create the ‘recent posts’ preview? Is this s WordPress slider(?) IF if IS – then why would you NOT want to know how it works?

  6. 10 years, 24 days ago Horatio Nelson

Per your THEME SETTINGS – there’s a SLIDER built into your design – which I cannot edit beyond telling it to cycle my postings. ONLY it is not cycling my postings in a responsive way to match smaller screens like 960, 510, 500, and 320px

  7. 10 years, 24 days ago Horatio Nelson

Also ASK YOURSELF: Is there a WORDPRESS function that over rides your theme function?

  8. 10 years, 24 days ago Horatio Nelson

MANY others are having a similar problem with your ‘SLIDER’ in mobile … thus you CLEARLY are not addressing some key issues. I’m hoping by pressing you on this I can get a SOLUTION – rather than starting from scratch

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Horatio

Is there any reason why you’re getting so angry with us? Both Andrew and I have been trying to help you. Please understand that we are just human and it takes us time to diagnose problems. We are here for our customers but sometimes issues, especially issues like this, can take some work to figure out.

Yes, that default slider is definitely from our theme, but what’s happening is that http://mobile.strongandsilkyhair.com/ is simply a cached version of your site that’s being delivered by another 3rd party. It has obviously saved a version of your site that still had the default slider enabled.

One site that offers this sort of service is http://www.dudamobile.com/ – are you perhaps using them? Can you contact whoever developed the site to ask them if they’ve used such a service. If not, can you contact Duda Mobile and ask them if they are the ones generating the mobile version of your site http://support.dudamobile.com/ticket

Again, getting angry and performing character attacks is not necessary. We will try help you regardless, but treating us in this manner will not help us reach a solution.

Indeed, I do sincerely APOLOGISE. I don’t mean to be a wank. I’m not angry – merely frustrated. And I DO like your THEMEWORK – I think your design is top notch – thats why I was stuffed about the slider

    Hi, I Work Here

Not a problem Horatio. I can understand your frustration. Hopefully my Duda Mobile hunch is correct – I’ve encountered problems with that once before :)

  12. 10 years, 24 days ago Horatio Nelson

I’m not using DUDA – but perhaps WordPress is? And is there anyway to trace the root path of (that) mobile (plant) image? If it were on a website – it would be easy. But that mobile image can be broadcasted from anywhere …

    Hi, I Work Here

Everything seems to be getting delivered through mobile.strongandsilkyhair.com. Another possibility is that your web hosts are offering this service without you knowing. Would it be possible for you to ask them where mobile.strongandsilkyhair.com is being delivered from?

  14. 10 years, 24 days ago Horatio Nelson

too many php redirects and filters – hiding where the image is located > this is the closest I’ve gotten > http://mobile.strongandsilkyhair.com/site/mobile?nosim=true&dm_try_mode=true&dm_device=mobile#2840

I’ve sent WP, DUDA and OPENCART queries to ask whats UP – and I’m waiting for one of them to chime in

OK – having used that mobile preview site – and inspecting the image path – I’ve traced it to your SNAPSHOP DEMO folder bundled in the WP content dir/ — perhaps you can direct your clients to find the DEMO images and replace them as I’ve done here > http://mobile.strongandsilkyhair.com/ (sort of the old fashioned, FTP method)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Horatio

If you send through a set of temporary login details to [email protected] I’ll take a look and see if there is anything we can do from the admin.

(http://www.bmobilized.com/ is another service like Duda Mobile that could be handling the mobile rendering of the site).
