The slider on my home page is too big, the width is perfect but the height is too much. How can I readjust it so that the entire slider can be seen on the front page without scrolling.

You can adjust your Meta Slider’s height by clicking on Meta Slider in your WordPress left column menu. The slider height is listed under Settings in the right column.

Actually im not using meta slider, im using the default slider the template came with .. How can I adjust that?

Thanks for the update. There is unfortunately no height setting in the slider widget at the moment. The documentation for this widget can be found here: https://siteorigin.com/widgets-bundle/slider-widget-documentation/.
The widget should however adhere to the image height.
Alternatively you could use Meta Slider with Influence.
