slider issue & slider play button

hi – it seems as though there is a strange filter on my slider rectangle area – you can see some overlay deviation at the base of the slider – any suggestions of how to get rid of this or address the image difference?

also – i would like to make the play button slim and trim (smaller) not the fat robust play button that is currently there. any css code ?

    Hi Shane

    To remove the overlay add:

    /* Slider Overlay */
.slider .overlay { display: none; }

    To change the play image try going to Appearance > Theme Settings > Video > Play Button.
