SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle Not Working after Page Builder Update

9 years ago · Last reply by Greg Priday 9 years ago

After installing (and then subsequently rolling back & then re-installing) the latest version of Page Builder, my Widgets bundle isn’t working.

Whenever I try to use the PageLayout widget and try to save my content it eventually times out and my content is not saved. Is there a fix for this?

    Hi brantwoodave,

Is it the Layout widget in the widget are that’s stopped working for you? Are you getting any Javascript errors on this page?

Also, we updated both the Widgets Bundle and Page Builder today. Can you check if updating to the latest versions of both of these fixes your issue?

    Hi Greg,

It’s the Layout widget in the widget area that’s stopped working (I’m not able to save content…the progress bar keeps spinning when I push save, but it eventually times out and nothing is saved).

I’ve made both of the updates for the Widget Bundle and the Page Builder (versions 1.5.10 and 2.4.3 respectively), but the problem is still persisting.

Hi are there updates to this thread?

I am also using the same theme that Kamil mentioned above.

    Hi Everyone

We were able to fix this issue. It turns out it was related to a bug that only presented in a very old version of PHP. We’ll be releasing the 2.4.4 update sometime today that’ll include the fix.
