siteorigin widged Bundle lost during an automatic update new installation fails

I have the newest version of wp and it did an automatic update which failed.
At the same time I lost siteorigin widged Bundle including all the pictures on the website related to it.

I tried to install it again and the installation fails.

I called I page and they could not find anything wrong on their end with the installation and they told me that the installation was fine.

Below you will find the message of the failed installation.

Any help is greatly welcomed.

Thank you,

    Hi Ani

Sorry to hear about this. I’m not quite sure why this happened yet. Can you please try this manually. Using FTP or Hosting File Manager, access your server and go to /wp-content/plugins/. Once there, delete the so-widgets-bundle folder. Then, from within WordPress you should be able to re-install from Plugins > Add New > search for SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.

Data and settings will be safe during this process. Let us know how it goes.

Thank you so much. It worked. I was really scared as this sounded too complicated for my abilities. However it was actually easy.
    Thanks for your help.

I also have this problem. Twice now plugin gets diabled (probably after automatic update) and this leads to content not showing on website. I can fix it manually by removing folder for so-widgets-bundle and then reinstalling. But I’d rather not get calls from customer about this again ;) Is there a fix?
