SiteOrigin Slider widget on zerif Pro

I am trying to add the slider widget to a custom page on Zerif Pro. Upon previewing the edits, the foreground image is not centered, but slightly to the left. How do I change the position of the foreground image?
Thanks,
Brad

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hey Brad

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Quick side note, this might cause issues:
    http://www.truckwell.info/wp-content/themes/zerif-pro-child/style.css?ver=v1

    You CSS files should only contain CSS, remove everything after:

    @import url("../zerif-pro/style.css");

    Checking the main issue out shortly.

    Hi, I Work Here

    The image alignment issue is due to an inline style not printing. Here is what should be happening and is happening my local copy:

    <div class="sow-slider-image-wrapper" style="max-width: 1000px">

    On your site:

    <div class="sow-slider-image-wrapper" style="">

    Please, try testing as follows:

    Move back to the parent theme, see if there is a change.
    If not, temporarily de-activate all plugins not made by SiteOrigin and see if there is a change.
    If there is still no improvement, try testing with a default theme like Twenty Fifteen activated. Still with all plugins OFF besides SiteOrigin plugins.

    Thanks :)

    Hi Andrew,

    DeActivating all plugins minus the two SiteOrigin ones I was using worked. Can we figure out what plugin is causing the issue?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Super. If you now slowly re-activate your plugins one by one, we should able to find the conflict. After each activation you’ll need to re-check the slider widget. Time consuming but necessary to find the plugin that’s causing the conflict.

    Excellent. I’ll get back to you. Thanks Andrew.

    For sure :)

    Andrew,

    I’ve reactivated the plugins that were activated before and they are not affecting the slider image? It looks like it’s working now, just curious what it could have been?

    Thanks again.

    Andrew,

    It turns out that it’s Jetpack that causes the issue. Any idea why? I would like to continue using Jetpack.

    Thanks,

    Brad

    Hi, I Work Here

    For sure! I love Jetpack too :) You’d need to run the same test as we did before, but this time with Jetpack modules. Turn all modules off at Jetpack > Settings, confirm the issue isn’t there, then, one by one, activate and test. Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Andrew!

    I finally ran the test. It looks like it’s the “Photon” feature, which speeds up the loading of photos, that is messing up the slider.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Nicely done. Photon has the potential to cause a number of problems. This isn’t the first time it’s come up. De-activate that module and you’re hopefully good to go.
