SiteOrigin Slider Widget – Youtube Videos

I am trying to build my website and would like to show a video on my homepage. The only widget that I see available to me is the SiteOrigin Slider widget. I have added the widget and inserted the url of a youtube video. On my homepage I can see the outline of what would be the video, but it is white/blank. I am able to click on it and it will take me to the actual website and play the video. I would prefer the video to just stream inside the box on my homepage. It is not functional the way I want it and I would like to know what am I doing wrong?
