Siteorigin products & Compatibility with “The Seo Framework” plugin

By Andrea Del Riva, 8 years ago. Last reply by Alex S, 8 years ago.

Since YOAST 3.0 came out, there have been a massive but report and even negative reviews about this famous plugin. Not to mention, the company behind it seems to have changed a lot its politic and behaviout towards its users.

However, since then, there is a new Seo Plugin standing up as alternative to YOAST and the popular AIOSEO, it is The Seo Framework.

I’m one of the lcuky user who didn’t suffer of big problems since latest YOAST changes, though, there are always minor bugs affecting my sites related to yoast plugin.

SO editor that can’t conflict with yoast, and lately also the contact form, as known issues from my side, and there are probably others that I’m unaware coming from YOAST plugin.

Then, I’m considering alternatives, since YOAST service quality as decreased considerabily for both premium and non users.

Then, as title says, this is kind of survery to find out The Seo Framework plugin compatibility with Siteorigin Plugins and Themes.

Feedback, comments, suggestions are all welcome.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Andrea,

I’m not really aware of any alternatives due to lack of personal research, however, it should be noted that in the next version of SiteOrigin Widgets bundle the contact form issue will be fixed. So if that’s your main reason for wanting to switch maybe you should hold out. Regardless, I’m personally not familiar with the SEO Framework plugin, but I see no referenced issues to it in our issue tracker. If you run into any issues with it please feel to report them and we’ll see if we can a fix out asap.

Regarding the editor widget, that’s still likely a while off as Yoast will need to improve how they allow other plugins to interact with their plugin programmatically.

    I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. :(

    Hi Alex

The bugs between SO plugins and YOAST is not the only problem, YOAST has some bugs by long time which ain’t been fixed yet.

    Hi Andrea,

I cannot comment on that. I can, however, state that if you decide to use an alternative plugin to Yoast we will try to resolve any and all issues.
