Siteorigin Page Builder Conflicts

July 1st, 2018

Good Morning

I am having some serious issues with my site. I have been and always will be using Siteorigin, however I am having issues with a plugin conflicts. At least I am assuming thats what it is. The Theme I am using is Seos Football Version: 1.1.6.

I have conducted a test of deleting all my plugins and activating them one by one to see if I can find the issue. Even with only Siteorigin pagebuilder and Siteorigin widget bundles activated when editing inside a page in siteorigin editor it is stuck on ‘text’ function with no buttons on the top of the page to switch it to visual editor. the page is full as I can see the information in text form only. Even the main page that shows the rows by rows and the widgets name on each looks different. buttons are a little smaller in in size but they are their at least. I can switch to ‘Revert to editor’ but not text information is visible. Blank section where my typed paragraphs should be.

as I click on plugins, I am finding an issue with Yoast premium. I lose the ability to see the stacked rows with the widgets name in them. plus the yoast SEO premium section has all the fillable informational section missing.

The same thing happens when i deactivate Yoast and active All In One Schema Rich Snippets. except all in one fillable section on the bottom of the page editor is visible. however the picture used for location of my office is 20 times oversized.

Plus on one page. the video widgets are not working right at all. they are way outside their containment area within the widgit frame, overlapping each other now. I Had all these issues a few days ago, cleared cash, dumped a few widgets and all was fine. but now these damn issues are back.

Is this a conflict with the theme itself? (Seos Football Version: 1.1.6.)

I never had this issue when I was using Vantage. But that was my old site and it suffered a meltdown due to an issue when I was adding anm SSL. I am running an SSL on this site as well.

When checking for any issues as I was deactivating and reactivating plugins, I would get the “”There is an autosave of this post that is more recent than the version below. View the autosave” message. so I clicked on it to see if anything should change and when I did the screen was blank.

Cache was always cleared both on the wordpress working editor side and on my computer as well.

Completely lost as to what to do next.

From what I read on other issue threads a person within your company who is like most others here — a hell of a lot smarter then I in website building, can be added as an admin within my site and look to see what’s going on. Then maybe also they could see if a much better theme is required.

So stuck and not having a clue as to what to do now.

Thanks for any help that might come my way.

Mike

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mike

    Sorry to hear about this.

    First test
Can you establish a working baseline? You’re almost there. If you go to Plugins, temporarily deactivate all plugins except for Page Builder and Widgets Bundle and then also go to Themes and temporarily switch over to a default theme like Twenty Sixteen, does the issue still persist?

    Second test
Assuming the above test fails. Are there any JavaScript errors when viewing a page in the WP admin? Here is how to check: https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors#Step_3:_Diagnosis.

(Please, don’t save any pages when in Text view if possible.)
