Hello Support

I admit defeat and need your help here please…:-)

I updated my WP version and now my SiteOrigin Image Slider is not viewable on the front-end. The widget is enabled and the settings and images etc for each widget are still in place in my page builder but I cannot preview the widget nor is it visible on the front end of the page. Do you have any bright ideas for me before I scrap it all and start again which I really want to avoid.

Thanks so much

Clare

    Hi Clare

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Have you made progress since posting? I can see three sliders on the page below the main image. The sliders took a while to load. I checked one image and it looks to be quite large in size. Do you perhaps want to check the image sizes? I’m sure once optimized, the page will load a lot quicker.

    I checked the following image:

    Its size is 6MB.

    Hello,

Thank you for checking and the quick response – much appreciated.

I see that you/someone? must have made some changes to the sliders as the image placeholders are all labelled differently?

They are all appearing now. So if you made a change, thank you!

But yes, I do see you are correct with some of the images – they are way to big. I’ll do some optimising.

Thank you very much for your help ☺

Hi. Thanks for the update. I’m glad to hear the issue is resolved. We don’t have any access to your site so I’m not quite sure what changed. Glad it’s working though.

    Cheers for now :)

    Andrew
