SiteOrigin CSS not working on themes

7 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 7 years ago

Hi there,
I am new to WordPress and I just created my new website and I downloaded a few free themes. Some of them are from WordPress themes, some of them I downloaded from various free theme websites in a .zip.
I was so excited for customising them, but I found out that customising themes in your own desired colour isn’t possible with a lot of free themes. That’s why I installed the SiteOrigin CSS plugin!
I opened it, but it is not working, sadly. I do see boxes and such when I’m hovering over it with my mouse, but when I change the color it doesn’t show.

Is there something wrong or is SiteOrigin CSS not compatible with every theme?

    Hi Kelly

    Thanks for posting.

If you can post a link to a page you’re working on and let us know which element you’ve tried to change, we’d be happy to take a look.
