[SiteOrigin CSS] Moving through pages cause inspector to disappear

Hi guys, first things first, thank you for this awesome plugin, it helped me a lot so far.

So, I’ve seen there’s a lot of people having problems while editing CSS for different pages other than HOME. I actually can navigate through pages, either following the “”Navigate To: (link)” option or closing the inspector. The problem is, when I’m at other page, the inspector disappears, and there’s no way to restore it. I still can see the sidebar with all the CSS options, but since I can’t select any element with the inspector, there’s no way I can edit the page. When I go back to HOME the inspector appears again.

Any thoughts on this issue?
Thank you in advance.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jaime,

It should be noted that navigation issues are not widespread – they (practically) only occur when there’s a plugin conflict.

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

If the above doesn’t help, would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

Thanks for the quick help, Alex. You were right, the issue is caused by a plugin conflict; when I disable everything Siteorigin works wonderful. I’ll take it from here. Thanks again, great work guys.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jaime,

Did you work out what plugin was causing the conflict? We might be able to fix it for future users.

Yes, sorry I didn’t get back to you. The conflict in my website was caused by “Ozythemes Contrast Theme Shortcodes”, a plugin recommended for the free version of the theme “Contrast” as you can see here: http://contrast.freevision.me/help/shortcodes/

Hopefully you find that helpful. Thanks again for the great work.
