I am using:
SiteOrigin CSS 1.1.5
GeneratePress Premium 1.5.6
WordPress 4.9.1
on an iMac running OS X El Capitan 10.11.4
My WP site is hosted by SiteGround
I have increased my PHP memory to 768
I have been having issues the past couple of days with CSS. Every time I edit Custom CSS and save it, it comes back as a blank page. So I click on the most recent CSS Revision and save that as CSS. Of course, this does not reflect my most recent changes.
This afternoon, I deactivated all of my plugins except GeneratePress Premium, since that is my theme plugin upgrade. Then I activated SiteOrigin CSS and tried to make a CSS change and save. The same thing happened: ended up with a blank CSS page.
1) What is going on? This problem is keeping me from working on my website and my client needs these changes ASAP.
2) Do I need to pay the $29 Premium fee to get faster support? I am only using the CSS plugin and have no need for any of the other packages.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi Marcia,
1. Please enable WP_DEBUG by editing wp-config.php. If you’re unsure how to do tihs I would recommend getting in contact with your hosting provider for assistance.
This will add an error message to the previously blank page. Please try editing once more and when the error message appears – please send me a copy of the error.
2. Unfortunately, we don’t currently provide a support only package at this time so, yes, you would need to purchase SiteOrigin Premium for $29 to receive for Premium Support.
