SiteOrigin animation plugin not working

Hi everyone.
I downloaded the latest version of siteorigin animation plugin but cant get anything to animate!
I have installed the Vantage theme and only have SiteOrigin plugins installed and activated (page builder, custom css, widgets bundle and animation).

At the moment I am just messing around with a site trying to get these things to work but am having no luck.
I have searched these forums and found that this is a common problem and I have followed all of the advice given in the previous threads but still it does not animate.
Please help

    Hi Dan,

    I can’t seem to see anywhere you’ve applied an animation. Can you please tell me an area where you’ve applied to it or, alternatively, can you send me a copy of your layout so I can take a look? To do this open up the page with the animation applied and click layout in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

    To confirm, did you receive the update email regarding SiteOrigin Animation 1.0.1? You may not have received it yet though as we can only send x number of emails per hour and there’s a lot of pending emails waiting to be sent out.
