SiteBuilder + Vantage => multi-column layouts no longer responsive

10 years ago · Last reply by Daniel 10 years ago

Did you also change anything between SiteBuilder and Vantage in the recent updates?

Because in the portrait view, where multi-column layouts were usually wrapped to ensure that the text was still readable, we’re now seeing no wrap but very, very slim columns with unreadable text instead.

See the news box on the page bottom of http://bit.ly/1Jmbz9s for an example.

We need this fixed urgently. Any ideas? Thanks.

I just noticed that the mobile navigation won’t show up either.

Apparently this is due to an incompatibility with the W3 Total Cache Plugin, which we just installed and enabled a few days ago.

Deactivating W3 Total Cache made the columns wrap again and brought the mobile navigation back.

More precisely, when CSS minifcation in W3TC is set to “CSS Tidy”, the mobile/responsive layout is completely gone.
