Site Title not working

Hi,
I just chose the Vantage theme, looks great! But I am having trouble setting it up. I have used worpress.com to set up a website before but I am finding it dificult here. I installed page builder but was not able to change much on the home page, the vantage theme title and slider remains. I’ve clicked on appearance > customize but when I type in the site Title & save it does not appear – just the Vantage title stays. In support it says you can change fonts but this option is not available.
