Site Title and Tagline

On my Customize menu I have my Site Title and Tagline inserted and Display Header Text button is checked, but the Site Title and Tagline do not appear on my page. The URL for the site is: http://www.intelligentsportssolutions.com/, and My site title is INTELLIGENT SPORTS SOLUTIONS and my tagline is TURNING TECHNOLOGY INTO VICTORIES.

Can you check and see what I need to do to activate my site title and tagline so it appears on my site? Thanks.

    Hi David

    You have a logo added via the setting at AppearanceTheme SettingsLogo. The logo and site title are exclusive. If you remove the logo, your site title will appear.

    Vantage, unfortunately, doesn’t render the site tagline. The demo uses the setting AppearanceTheme SettingsHeader Text: http://demo.siteorigin.com/vantage/. You can also add content via AppearanceWidgetsHeader. Unfortunately, both of those are removed once you shift over to using the Logo in Menu masthead layout which you are using.

    Hope that helps to explain what’s happening and what your options are.

    I removed the logo, but still no Site Title. Can you take one more look and see what I need to do to get my Site Title to appear? Thanks.

    Apologies for the hassle. Please, try adding the following to Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Logo */
    #masthead.masthead-logo-in-menu .logo {
        font-size: 12px;
        padding: 17px 0 10px;
    }

    When I did all those steps I got a Site title, but it is very small and on the same line as the menu bar. See:

    As an example. I would like the Site Title to be on a separate line and much bigger and bolder text. Thanks

    Sure. For that to happen you’d need to go to AppearanceTheme Settings and change the Masthead Layout to Default. You’re currently using Logo in Menu. The current layout is the expected result when using the Logo in Menu setting.

    That worked. Thanks for your help.

    Super, glad that did the trick.
