Site pack instalation issue

By Carlos Velasco, 1 year ago. Last reply by Alex S, 1 year ago.

Hi, I’m using Google Cloud Platform to install WordPress. When I have them ready, I installed a SitePack, and suddenly the WordPress access interface appeared, but I couldn’t log in because the password didn’t work. I thought it was some error in the configuration of GCP but when I went through the whole process again I had the same problem when I loaded the site pack.

Could you identify what the problem was? you would really like to use the site packs so you don’t have to do everything from scratch.

thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Carlos,

Thanks for contacting our premium support desk. I’m sorry you’re having trouble installing a site pack on the Google Cloud Platform. We’ve received reports of this happening in the past and have managed to resolve this issue on other hosting platforms but have been unable to do so on the Google Cloud Platform. There’s effectively no indication why it’s failing and debugging it has proved fruitless after a number of extensive sessions.

We recommend installing the site pack locally (using something like Local) and then migrating that data to your Google Cloud hosted site. I can also provide you with a backup file of site packs for All-in-One WP Migration if you would like – just let me know which site pack and I’ll set it up. :)

    Kind regards,
    Alex
