Site Origin Widgets Bundle hides my WP admin bar

Hi there,

For some time I looked for a cause my WordPress admin bar (toolbar) didn’t show up on the front end of my website. After deactivating all plugins it was there again. I started reactivating them one by one, checking at which moment the admin bar would disappear again. This happened when I activated the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin.

Have you heard this before? I think a possible cause for it is that the plugin overwrites the theme’s css.

I really hope you have an explanation or solution to this problem, beacuse I like your widgets very much and use them a lot on my website :-)

Hope to hear. Cheers, Martin

PS: I’ve entered the URL of my site but you cannot see it, because it isn’t online yet

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Martin

    Thanks for your feedback.

This isn’t something we’ve seen before or are able to replicate. Can you please switch themes to a default theme like Twenty Fourteen and see if the issue persists?

    Hi Andrew,

Like you said, I switched to Twenty Fourteen and the issue didn’t occur. So it has something to do with the combination of Vantage Theme and Origin Bundle. Maybe you have an alternative so I can use similar widgets for my site?

OK, I can do that. I’m sorry but what kind of temporary login details do you mean?

    Hi, I Work Here

Here is my email macro on this topic, it’s long but detailed:

Please send through the following when you have a moment:

    1. Your url.
    2. A set of temporary login details (username and password).

Please ensure that the user information has a role of Administrator.

We get quite a few emails each day so it’s best to send everything in this email thread. Please do not send login details via WordPress in a separate email.

If you’re unsure how to create a new user account please see below:

    1. Find the Users link in your WordPress main navigation.
    2. Hover over Users and click Add New.
    3. Be sure to select Role: Administrator when creating the account.
    4. Please email the login details in this thread instead of asking WordPress to email them.

OK thanks, I’ve sent you the information. Hope to hear from you :-)
