I have installed site origin CSS editor for my vantage premium theme. When I tried to change css through the installed plug in, I could not see inspector while hovering on parent elements on site preview. I checked it with different browser like chrome, firefox but still inspector is not seems to be activated. Please guide how to proceed.
Hi Amit
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
Hi Greg,
As suggested by you to disable all plugin and enable one by one; really helped in finding the plugin causing the issue. The plugin was Autoptomizer by Frank Goossens was the main cause behind the issue.
Thanks for prompt support.
Thanks Amit! Very glad to hear you managed to solve the issue.
Guys, I also had an issue with the CSS Editor and posted here about my findings: Thread: CSS Editor and WordPress 4.4RC, no element pane at the bottom
@Amit, I’d be interested to know what version of WordPress were you running at the time and if you had/have the NexGen Gallery plugin installed
Cheers.
