Site Origin CSS dropping out

I have just downloaded Site Origin CSS for evaluation in the hope that I can make some changes to the Pure and Simple Pro WP theme.

I am finding that the CSS editor opens properly on a page but then drops out after about 10 to 15 seconds making it virtually impossible to achieve anything.

I have made a couple of searches through the forum but have not found any suggestions there at this stage.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    If you temporarily deactivate all plugins except for SiteOrigin CSS does the issue persist?

    I have not had much time to analyse that at this stage however I think there may have been a problem with that theme and the anti – popup extension I had running in Safari on my Mac.

    I will do more specific analysis of the interaction of the plugin, theme and anti popup software next week and will let you know what I find. The theme is certainly behaving differently to others I have used and I wonder if it somehow “repells” attempts to modify its css using programs like Hero. I am not a programmer which is why I enjoy tweaking with Hero. I am always scared to get "under the hood”.

    No problem, let us know what you find.

    If you think the theme is involved in a problem, the quick test is to temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen and see if the issue persists. Once the test is complete, switch back to your preferred theme.
