Site is broken as changing permalinks

I have been trying to get the Event Ticket plugin to work. One of their “fixes” was to change the permalink type to post (it had been set at default). As soon as I did this, the entire site broke. I can’t even access the dashboard to try to reset them.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jhohner

    Thanks for your question.

Sorry to hear about the problem. Please, try deactivating all plugins via FTP. This will hopefully restore access.

I have done this but still can’t get into my admin panel.

I restored a backup into my file directory and was able to get into my admin panel. From there, I went into the permalinks option and tried to reverse my original action by changing the permalinks option from post to default.
Immediately, I was given a 500 – Internal server error and I can’t get into my admin panel again.

I am going to try to get access to my admin panel again. Once I do that, I need to know how to restore the page links as it seems to be unaffected by my backup.

When I look at the permalink settings page, it seems like it has added /wordpress/ into the address of all the permalinks and it is not possible to edit them there.

I have done a total restore and it is now fixed. I still have the original problem of the plugin not working with Vantage.

I want to use the plugin “the events calendar” and the “Eventbrite Tickets” so that I can have people register for events directly from my website using and eventbrite account. It seems to work for many people and has really good reviews. However, when I install it, it does not seem to create the correct directory for the authorization process.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the update. We’d be happy to install these plugins on our side and check for an obvious conflict with SiteOrigin products. I’ve installed https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/ without any problem. Do you have a link to the second plugin you mentioned?
