Site Content Disappears on Home Page

By Dan Kaho, 9 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 9 years ago.

This happened to me this weekend… I updated the home page, sent an email to my customer, and received a message this morning that it wasn’t what he was expecting. I updated the three columns that come stock with the vantage theme (they show the icons with content and “more info”) and also added two new things yesterday. A call to action (on the bottom left above the footer) and embedded video (to a YouTube video).
Not sure if this helps troubleshoot. If you need any more information, please let me know.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Dan

Sorry to hear about the hassle.

Can you confirm that Page Builder is currently installed and activated under Plugins in WordPress? I’m not seeing it loading in your page source.

    Hello Andrew,

Yes, I’ve confirmed it was activated. I deactivated and re-activated to see if it would kick in. I’m running v1.5.3. Could it be that I have another plug-in that is interfering with Page Builder?

My list of active functions are: Media File Manager, Meta Slider and Page Builder. Now that I think of it, things broke once I installed the Media File Manager. However, I deactivated it and the problem still occurs.

Thanks for any help you can provide! :)

    Hi, I Work Here

Please can you try checking for a plugin conflict. De-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins at once. Then re-test your page, save it etc. If everything is back to normal then try re-activating your plugins one by one, each time going back to the page and saving content etc. I think we might have seen a Page Builder conflict with Media File Manager in the past but am unfortunately not certain.

Ahh here we go: Thread: Incompatibility: Media File Manager Advanced. Looks like that is indeed the problem.
