site builder custom css being overwritten (not fixed by turning off in-line css in options)

Hi Guys,

Congrats on a pretty good marriage of vantage and site builder.

I’ve got a couple of client sites coming up and am thinking of giving vantage a try, so i’ve been doing some playing with customisation and am having 1 main difficulty.

In some instances (not all) the my custom CSS is being overwirtten by the page-builder css.

For example I have a row with 4 colums @ 25% and 1 button in each column, and my custom css to remove L/R padding is being crossed out and overwritten back to 15px L/R padding.

I have seen tried other fixes on the net for this line “un-checking the inline-css setting in page-builder”, however in this case, it’s not fixing the issue.

any ideas? Bit of a deal breaker for me on this issue.

Thanks guys (agian overall great job on the theme / page-builder combo.

Cheers
Daz

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Daz

Thanks for your support. We’ve been moving quite quickly the last three months so the threads you’ve read on this are most likely outdated now.

Can I perhaps see a test page with this scenario laid out?
