I can’t seem to get a title under my images or on top of them when I build out the simple masonry layout

You’ve discovered a bug. Thanks for reporting this. I’ll log the issue with our developers now. They’ll hopefully be able to include a fix in the next version of the Widgets Bundle. Apologies for the hassle.
