Sidebar in Origami

9 years ago · Last reply by Support Assistants 9 years ago

I know that the theme doesn’t come with a sidebar and that you can fake it by using the page builder to make two columns. I have created, ZI have turned off and on plugins to try and narrow that down, but it still does not show when I publish the page. (http://www.catherinemaustin.com/bespokebanterblog/) I can recreate a “sidebar” on other pages, just not on the blog page. Is there a recent change that make it incompatible with wordpress? I have 4.7.2 installed. It was showing up before, and now it’s not. Any suggestions or known issues that have recently developed?

Thanks in advance….

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Once a page is assigned as the blog page, no content other than posts will render. Go to Settings > Reading and deselect the Blog/Posts page. Then, go back to your blog page and use Page Builder to insert a Post Loop widget. You can then insert content around or next to the Post Loop widget, as required. Hope that helps.
