Sidebar does not appear on front page after latest WP update

Hi I am using Vantage premium and have been working on a new site. since I updated to the latest WP my sidebar on the front page has completely disappeared. and even though it is set to appear it is not working.

Hi Tash
Try heading to Pages > Home and changing the page template to Default. You’ll find the page template drop down menu in the right column when editing a page.
