    Hi Peter

    Thanks for running Vantage.

    Just taking a guess but any chance you’ve mixed up the slider in our new theme Influence (which accepts a shortcode) and the Vantage slider which is an integration with Meta Slider?

    Hello Andrew thanks for the reply. What i am asking is if i can link a shortkode into the themesettings Home Page Slider. I’m not using Meta Slider so i can’t use the same method. I’m using jQuery banner rotaer (plugin) which is a little different :( any help?

    You’ll need to create a child theme for Vantage: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes. Copy header.php into your child theme and replace line 34 which reads:

    <?php vantage_render_slider() ?>

    with:

    <?php if(is_front_page()) echo do_shortcode("[metaslider id=189]"); ?>

    Replacing my shortcode with the shortcode of your slider.
