Severe server issue on a PageBuilder query

11 years ago · Last reply by Greg Priday 10 years ago

I had many server issue recently, with timeouts for many hours.

I called my ISP and they, after a deep log analysis, stated that the problems are coming from this query:

FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘siteorigin_panels_display’ LIMIT 1

i am using PageBuilder 2.0.7
Can you pls let me know urgently how can I get rid of this problem?

Thanks

Fabio

    Hi Fabio,

Sorry for the late reply here. That’s a very light weight query that runs when the WordPress function get_option is called. WordPress itself caches these requests so it shouldn’t be causing too much load. What kind of hosting are you using?

I’ve logged this as a potential issue on our issue tracker. I’ll let you know what I find.

    Hi Fabio,

I’ve investigated this a little bit and I’ve found where the issue might be coming in. The fix will be coming in version 2.1 of Page Builder.

    Hi Greg,

    thank you for investigating.
    Is v.2.1 coming soon?

We will probably do a bug release before before a 2.1 feature release.
    That'll be coming soon.
