Hi! Strange thing, I uploaded mp4 file through focus video plugin and it’s playable from media library but on the post page it just doesn’t play at all. What could it be?

    Hi selah

Please can you check for a conflict with the player. Try de-activating all non-SiteOrigin plugins and then re-testing the front end player.

That’s very strange. I deactivated all plugins but here screen of what happens the file is downloading but player just doesn’t show anything. Could this be because of custom css? http://www.mediafire.com/view/6caznue4cl2fsla/screen.jpg

And after the whole file downloaded the video played. Why doesn’t it play while downloading?

I’m not sure what might be the problem. Perhaps create a demo post or page and try inserting the same video into the Visual Editor tab using the Add Media button. Does that play?

Nope it doesn’t work. Goes not found file http://www.mediafire.com/view/hp76x1egonhw8t7/screen2.jpg
By the way how can change the jplayer’s skin? There is no sound tumbler in default.

I’ve created a playlist and it played, I don’t understand a thing… Maybe the problem is in php settings? Max amount of memory or something?

    Hi, I Work Here

You could complete the test I advised by switching to a default theme like Twenty Fourteen and testing in a regular page. You could even test that with all plugins off. That’ll remove any possible conflicts.

Depending on the result of the above test, the last thing to eliminate before looking at hosting issues etc would be to try another .mp4 file. Try downloading this one here: http://vimeo.com/100934402, uploading to your media library and testing with that file.

I haven’t ever changed the player skin. You might need to look at a third-party plugin for that.
