Selectively Enabling Page Builder

I’ve seen a couple of older threads that can’t figure out how to selectively enable the page builder editor.

My problem is that I’d like users to be able to use the familiar WP editor for simple pages without having to repeatedly switch back to that editor.

Currently, I’m solving this by disabling Page Builder for every post type, then enabling it for pages in a siteorigin_panels_settings filter if a meta field is present for the current post.

I’m fine with this method, it seems to work, but is there a drawback that I’m missing, or does it risk suddenly not working in the future?
